Where nothings new under the sun,
I seek novelty, a fresh spark,
To ignite my soul and light up the dark.
But alas, all I see is repetition,
The same old stories in a new edition,
No groundbreaking thoughts or ideas in view,
Just recycled tales, all too few.
The music plays, but it's the same old tune,
No innovative melodies to make hearts swoon,
The words are spoken, but lack true meaning,
Lost in a sea of empty feelings.
In art and fashion, trends come and go,
But originality is hard to show,
For the canvas is painted with strokes from the past,
Leaving me longing for something that will last.
Even in love, emotions often retrace,
No new depths discovered, just a familiar embrace,
The same old dance, the same old game,
Leaving me weary, feeling nothing but shame.
But amidst this repetitious haze,
I find solace in the smallest of ways,
For in the mundane, there lies a hidden clue,
A glimmer of hope shining through.
For though nothings new may be my plight,
The human spirit is a beacon of light,
In each heart, a fire waiting to ignite,
Bringing forth something truly bright.
So let us seek the new within the old,
Unearth the stories yet to be told,
For in our hands lies the power to create,
To shatter the cycle, to break free of fate.
Nothings new? Perhaps that's not the truth,
For within us lies the spark that soothes,
With our imagination, we can transcend,
And create a future that knows no end.
