Entrusting Cares
Answer me when I call,
The Lord vindicates me;
Picking up when I fall,
Giving insight to see.
Freed me from affliction,
Graciously hears my prayer;
For sinful addiction,
Confessing that I share.
How long will my honor,
Turning glory to shame;
Treated as a goner,
When they hear me proclaim.
For how long will they love,
Worthless pursuit of lies;
Trusting fake news thereof,
By Satan in disguise.
The Lord has set apart,
For Himself as faithful;
Those with pure mind and heart,
Humbled and merciful.
He will hear when I call,
Angered if I would sin;
Merciful if I fall;
Let me be cleansed within.
If no sin on my bed,
It reflects in my heart;
Purity will be fed,
For a heavenly start.
Offer a sacrifice,
For trusting in the Lord;
Let not this world entice,
Only God is adored.
I will be lying down,
And be sleeping in peace;
A smile from a frown,
His safety will increase.
