My wild imagination
My wild imagination visits places
Quite bizarre, over blushing rainbows
Turn left at ‘Can’t be far’. If it happens
To be raining there’s a brolly by the moon
Rent by the hour, it’s solar powered
Let’s hope the rain stops soon
I met a spatial lady from another
Galaxy, she’d heard that I was lonely
And she’d come to rescue me. She came
She said by wireless wave on 94.6, it’s
The fastest way to travel if you want
To get here quick
She said she’d like to marry me one
Sunny afternoon, if I could get the
Day off work then I could be the
Groom. We’d honeymoon by Neptune
Tour the Milky Way, she wanted lots
Of star babies starting straight away
I write 'til very late at night, my spirit
Likes to soar, amongst the stars and
Comets large sometimes I don't come
Home. When troubled I escape the
Earth to find peace on the moon and
Looking down can’t fathom how these
Silly problems bloom
I've a racy kind of reason to write the
Way I do, it might be prose or poems
Wrote with lots of lyrics too. My wild
Imagination keeps me on tenterhooks
I never know what’s coming next
Sometimes I daren’t look!
