Blessed is God our Father,
Of our Savior Jesus Christ;
Who is our Lord and Brother,
On Calvary was sacrificed.
Blessing with spiritual blessings,
The richness of the heavenly realm;
The mercy and grace that He brings,
While having Him at the helm.
God chose us before the foundation,
Of the world in Christ unblemished;
Within His love through salvation,
As purity is replenished.
He foreordained to adoption,
Of His children through Jesus Christ;
According unto His option,
The pleasure His will is enticed.
The glory of His grace to praise,
The Father has freely bestowed;
His dearly loved Son to raise,
Compassionate mercy hallowed.
We have redemption through His blood,
The forgiveness of trespasses;
As the Spirit cleanses the crud,
Rescuing from the crevasses.
He lavished us with the insight,
Blessing us by giving wisdom;
Enables us to see the light,
Staying on track for His Kingdom.
His mystery that was revealed,
Allowing Him through His pleasure;
In watching of His plan unsealed,
So, we inherit His treasure.
Dispensing the fullness of times,
Through Jesus to head up all things;
That we can continue to climb,
Towards all of what Heaven brings.
We have claimed God’s own possession,
Predestinated to His purpose;
But not for as an obsession,
Granting to His will to surface.
Jesus Christ is the down payment,
To inherit through redemption;
Not thought of as an endowment,
But a bridge to ease the tension.
