She's brought me nothing but happiness,
I am filled with so much pride,
She has a heart of hearts, so vast it is,
Like the ocean stretched far and wide!
She's full of confidence and self worth,
A mother, good, strong and fine,
She will help and support on everything,
She's there for me every time.
Strong willed, determined and witty,
She has a hidden strength inside,
To know she is my daughter,
Fills me with so much pride!
She worries and frets for her mum who is me,
Role reversal in effect,
Tells me; ‘Mum don't do this and that!'
I'm often found I'm checked!
Her heart is so full of goodness,
Her self esteem second to none,
Her attitude and conduct astound me,
Her goal; to get the job done!
And she does, she really does,
No matter the trials she has to face,
She is, in all her glory…
