Mind over Matter
Mind floating like a sive
stirring a mix for supper
time, I write a word or
two, to satisfy my yearning
heart..
Each hundred strokes
I think, maybe I'll write
another verse! wonder if
it'll be time to rest my
aching arm, before I rest.
Now I lay my self to sleep
forgot to write another
verse, before I closed my
eyes to sleep, I left my keys
by the garden gate..
Now I have no keys, no food,
no soap to wash my dirty cloths
so here I sit again, writing something
silly, to satisfy my hunger pains..
