Silent echoes _

Lost in a culture from yesteryear, true blue
conversations would meet on a two way street.
Happy sad, lesser rules would apply, with an
understanding half way along you should meet.

The texting crowd pile it on, when data shakes
hands tricked out on screens interlaced on each end.
Culture torn, the passion lost, as you call out
down the cave with no echo where friendship bends.
