"A single candle in the night,"
We keep our candlesticks burning brightly.
shining in all of our wonderful light.
for all the world to see.

So people may come freely to the candlelight
and believe in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Shining brightly in the world' darkest
nights of depression and despair.

"Accepting pardon"

We are free to be accepting pardon
for all of our sins.
We have the ability to claim
our freedom from
eternal death.

And yet we can choose to be rescued
by the blood of the
Lamb of God.
Who takes away the
sins of the world.

Our souls and spirits can be
forever set free.
We are no longer slaves
to sin.

But we are the sons and
daughters of the most high
and holy God, Jesus Christ.

He is the way the
truth and the light
to everlasting light.

Heavenly Angles In The Morning

We beheld heavenly angles in the morning;
When we first decide to rise/
Their melodious heavenly melodies
seem to fill the sky.

We listen to them singing psalms
of praise at the beginning
of each brand new day.

We can almost hear the gentle
whispering of angelic wings,
as they fold them while they pray.

Angels help us celebrate the
start of every new day/
While we join in their heavenly song.
Together we worship the LORD!

"Only his love can make me happy."

Only his love for me can make me happy.
Only the love Jesus Christ freely shares
with me can set my spirit free.

Only his love can make me happy
whenever I am feeling sad and blue too
And these humble words ring true blue.

Only his love can make me happy
in the echoes of my mind all of the time.
Only his love can grant me peace of mind.

Only his love can make me happy
and give me the courage to be
kind.

Only his holy spirit can fill
my mind with his
blessed love divine.

"Open my eyes LORD Jesus"

Oh! Open my eyes so I may see,
thy special love you have for me.

Lead and guide me in your ways
for now and for always.

Heal my broken heart and mind.
Teach me to become fully thine,

by Taking each day one
day at a time.

Please forgive my numerous sins
Together we can overcome
and completely win. A-Men

"If you need a friend, why not turn to him?"

If you need a friend, why not turn to him?
By freely confessing all of your sins and
asking God's Holy Spirit to cleanse your soul.

Someday you will walk on streets paved with
purest gold. When your heart is broken into
two pieces;

And when you feel your life is coming to an
abrupt end. And when you have just lost
your best friend.

Jesus Christ promises to never leave,
nor forsake you.
He will always remain loyal and true.

"I was lost when Jesus found me."

I was lost when Jesus found me
drowning in the sea of depression
and despair. You reached out your
strong arm and rescued me from
drowning in the cold dark sea.

You guided me safely to the shore
of security and safety placing
my feet and solid ground.
Blessed peace of mind
is what I found.

All through the stormy weather of
windy rain, and forever more
was I to blame. I was rescued
by my holy life's guardian, over
my troubled soul.

By my entering into the holy city
with its streets paved with gold,
is my everlasting goal.
In my entire earthly life.

"Tree City USA 2068 WA"

I sincerely hope people
alive in 2068 will be able to see
our sunrises and sunsets.

And our abundant flowery
baskets and planters
and trees.

Everett's Tree City 2068 USA

In 2068 Everett will
Still be Tree City USA.
It will pave the way
For other cities.
Leafy trees
Will still be beautifying
Colby Ave. Hanging colorful
Flowery baskets and planters
will be adorning our fairest
city too.

For my second entry I wrote about
transferring from my foster home in
Ballard January 23, 1973. (45 years ago.)
My family has faced many heartaches
trials and tears.
But we can overcome if
only we remember "to have courage and be kind."

Poem Hunter?

"Always remember to have courage and be kind."

We are blessed by experiencing
Jesus Christ's love divine.
For he gives us the necessary
strength "to always remember
to have courage and be kind."
Hopefully these precious
words will touch our inner hearts
spirits, souls and minds.

"A new commandment I give unto you
that you love one another as I
have loved you." As his tender
children, we need to always remember,
his tendered hearted words.

Only then will we finally free
to become his disciples and
follow his leadership, and pathways.
Throughout the remainder of our earthly days.

"Only his love can make my happy."

Only his love can make me happy.
Only his special love
Jesus Christ has for me
can finally set me free.

Only his love can make me happy
whenever I am feeling sad and blue.
And these comforting words
are echoing in my inner mind.

Only his love can make me happy.
And because of him "I am always
able to have courage and be kind."

Only his love can make me happy.
Only his purest love can liberate
my spirit, soul and mind.

"We will never walk alone"

We will never walk alone
Jesus Christ will be our guide.
By guiding our footsteps
in his passage ways.

We will never need to be terrified,
because Jesus Christ will remain
our guide. He will forever be
lightening up our darkened pathways.

We will never need to suffer from
the cold dark hole of depression.
Jesus Christ will cause our depression
to lesson and to weakened. His
wonderful healing love for us
has only just really begun.

better revisions on line then pen and ink.
I have shared with you some of my revision
