 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

Rest and you shall be saved,

In quietness and trust;

No longer be enslaved,

By temptation of lust.

But you were unwilling,

And decided to flee;

From the Lord instilling,

Salvation to be free.

You flee upon a horse,

Therefore, shall flee away;

Immoral ways of course,

Continuing to stray.

Riding on a swift steed,

Pursuers shall be fast;

Spreading the wild seed,

A pleasurable blast.

But a thousand shall flee,

At the threat of just one;

Because you cannot see,

Of the things you have done.

Until like a flagstaff,

Upon the mountain top;

And causing you to laugh,

As a signal to stop.

Therefore, will the Lord wait,

To be gracious to you;

Mercy to compensate,

As to discontinue.

For the Lord is the God,

Of justice and the Law;

Knowing that you are flawed,

Will He forgive your flaw.

And you shall weep no more,

As soon as you confess;

Your sickness He will cure,

And is willing to bless.

Your eyes will see your Teacher,

Your ears shall hear His Word;

You are a beseecher,

Studying what is heard.
