Emptiness creeps into my soul,
Crying out in not so sweet misery,
I reached for you in many moments,
Darkness is all I find now,
I once smiled when I saw you,
Now I hide so much pain in my eyes,
Loving words once left your lips,
Harshness now comes from your lips,
Once tender and soft touch,
Not so sure to trust,
My soul cries in silence,
Words once spoken now seem broken,
I keep waiting for my now lost love,
I hope to find him soon,
Until then I will remain where he left me,
And he shall remain my lost love.
