When I said I loved you,
You claimed to love me too,
Has your heart now forgotten,
Has it became an empty promise to me,
When you said I would not be lonely,
Lonely became my home,
Were the words spoken lies to me,
Have I now became the enemy,
So many words lay at my feet,
Echoing out and repeating beautifully,
I cried out for you to save me,
Instead you left me fading away,
If I fall it will surely destroy all of me,
So I pull back only to go numb,
My tears not gone but hidden,
My pain not to be seen,
One day there will be nothing left to give,
That's the day you will have broken me,
Then my heart will no longer break,
And on that day you will have walked from me.
