In Layers

held by the heel
dis-comforture for some girl
a doctor
his interns
observe but can't discern
how
real hot words
burning from inside
become a seal
the wound
still fresh
how the
red brand of it seals
she wears her skin
like a dried peel
schaffing of in layers
of black
underneath
the palest of scars
