Is there a sorrow only I alone have felt?
A bitterness my lips solely must taste?
Are my tears the only raindrops that fall?
Is that hollow sound heard in the stillness
of the night the cry of my heart...
rasping from the aridity of barreness.
Aye... I desire to open my eyes
to escape this affliction__
yet only darkness I see...
surrounding me__
engulfing me__
imprisoning me in
self pity.

what is this that has me?
I beseech thee for thy mercy
Help me Father,

shine your Divine Light upon me
for I have fallen into deep
endlessness.
Only your Love can rescue me
from this pit of despair...
Oh Father.. do you not hear me???
Do you not answer my cry???
Why am I held, yet tighter still
by this murky gloomy pitch..?
Squeezing me
until my last breath escapes me!
Within this stationary void,
my turmoil comes to its' end
I struggle no more.
But strangely,...
how can it be!...
that within this wretched dark nebulous
I am found again?
Reborn! renewed!
In quiet motionlessness
I now lie within this fortress of shadows...
yet I fear it no longer
for I am at peace.
The taste of dreaded bitterness
is now welcomed;
for truth is bitter
and must be swallowed hard.
The hollow sound
my new soul vigorously filling
my rhythmic clock
with rekindled strength!
My tear drops filling my veins
and flowing throughout my ventricle
and now it thirst not.
The darkness binding me everlastingly
my own tranquility refusing to let go of me.
Acknowledgement audaciously confronts me
and now.... Only now ...
is there Light...
