We always need to thank God,
The Father of our Lord;
Needing to honor and laud,
Showing that He is adored.
Honor Him in our prayers,
For the faith that we have heard;
In the blessings that He shares,
By the reading of His Word.
For the faith you have in Christ,
And the love of all the saints;
How Jesus was sacrificed,
No indicant of complaints.
For the hope up in Heaven,
Being reserved for each one;
As the Gospel is given,
Joins together with the Son.
This hope a message of truth,
Came to us in the Gospel;
We have heard since our youth,
As told to all the people.
It is buried deep in root,
Growing throughout all the earth;
It is bearing sacred fruit,
Nourishing us a new birth.
The truth recognized by grace,
Proves the love in His Spirit;
Allowing Christ to embrace,
In performing good merit.
For this reason, since the day,
His will gives us the wisdom;
So, we give thanks as we pray,
When we enter His kingdom.
We walk worthy for the Lord,
Bearing fruit in pleasing Him;
And to keep in one accord,
Strengthened by spiritual vim.
Give thanks unto the Father,
Who has enabled each one;
To call Christ our Brother,
Remembering as the Son.
For He gave us salvation,
Inheritance in the light;
For building a foundation,
With the knowledge and insight.
