another day
another dollar
why must I live the blue collar
to keep myself afloat
sailing by waves of dreams
enter the 4th stage
night terror of darkness
afraid to awaken
attempting to avoid reality
living and dying is a formality
where are the women of quality
hiding
with men of stability
guess that's what they want
that badge and gun security
I have the steel
without the shield
so my resume doesn't fit their criteria
so I wonder around getting in where I fit
the women I seem to meet are always counterfeit
like dirty money,
they scheme for the c.r.e.a.m
do anything for the green;
where are the ladies representing
our true African Queens
the one's that higher learn
without a perm
takes care of their king
when he acquires a germ
equipped with the proper vaccine
you know,
the one's with those powerful genes...
with descendants like...
Nefertiti...
will I be blessed with one as such
to help govern my inner spirit?
