'' A Terminal Disease ''

The human design,
Shows many faces,
They can be cruel as well as kind,
It's how to define,
What's between those spaces,
That will drive you out of your mind.

Are some born mad,
Or are they created,
By that which surrounds them each day,
Is it a fad,
If left unabated,
In their mind's it'll forever hold sway.

Some learn from mistakes,
While others don't,
As individuals we all have that choice,
Is it courage it takes,
While some just won't,
Some stagnate while others rejoice.

We have free will,
That's what we're told,
But in reality, that just isn't true,
Though a bitter pill,
It does leave us cold,
Throughout life we are told what to do.

Intelligent it's said,
By whom you may ask,
You guessed it, yes it was us,
Sick in the head,
When taken to task,
But don't ever dare make a fuss.

This wonderful creation,
Believe they're all seeing,
Yet, they can't see the wood for the trees,
Facing extermination,
The great Human Being,
Will be remembered as,

‘' A Terminal Disease ‘'
