Do something really amazing

As Christmas approaches it's time to start thinking

About New Year and especially New Year resolutions.

There are two particular paths worthy of consideration.

1: You can let life happen to you, or 2: You can make

Life happen. In the former you just sit around hoping

And praying something good will come your way, whilst

In the latter, you get off your backside and do something

Really amazing.

And by 'something really amazing' I mean crossing a

Threshold never crossed before. Breaking boundaries.

Winning races, righting wrongs. Helping to make

Earth a better place for all. The world is short of

Really new ideas and thus the door is open to anyone

And everyone possessed of imagination and willing to

Play their part in giving the world a happy New Year

Instead of the brewery. Exciting notions are needed

That may potentially relieve the pressure on this

Delicately balanced exhausted place we call home,

And if you have a Eureka moment, you may be on

On your way to becoming a millionaire. Don’t laugh,

People have done as much and more in other directions

From their garden shed or garage.

Up-grade your potential, beef-up your thinking, don't

Take no for an answer, oaks grow from acorns, if you

Want a job keep knocking until the door opens. Keep

Trying, never give up, never give in. Stop looking back,

Focus on the future, think Big. The world desperately

Needs original ideas. New ways of looking at old

Problems that haven’t gone away and won’t go away

Unless we solve them and soon and if you have a stroke

Of genius and anyone can have one - you're on your way.
