Sometimes It's Hard For Me to PraySometimes I need to go into detail To say to you Lord, "all is not well" There's so much in my heart I need to tell I can't find the right words and I fail Sometimes it's hard for me to pray Sometimes I don't know what to say I begin repeating "thank you Lord for this day" Then go on my merry way I know you understand the way I feel You know my love for you is real You know my feelings are hard to reveal It seems the truth I try to conceal If I could bring all wrong to light You would forgive and help make it right I know it's not hidden from your sight Lord help me talk it over with you tonight I pray the Holy Spirit will help me Communicate with you, so I can see What your complete will for me shall be And from sin I'll be set free Norma 1977 copyright 2003/2004 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
