Placing these thoughts
composed from my heart,
the strongest muscle,
and
displaying whats felt
through my bold point pen;
not to share would be a trifle,
and all out deadly sin.
They say 7 of them are fatal,
each one gently hums a sweat
and
sour melody.
one of them is close to danger
minus the 'd'
makes folks forehead old before it's time,
all wrinkled and crunched.
its vivid
as a youth
you wish your mother
was able to pack your lunch,
but
you had to eat mystery meat
all through the week,
but
on friday pizza sure sound sweat.
Bottled up,
brewed for 25 years;
aged like old cheap wine.
worrying about finances,
too pent up to enjoy life's gracious dance
to melodious tones;
Instead you plot and scheme
on new and improved ways to stack green;
charging double the dosage
so you can bask in your own
private unaborted devotion to dead presidential
explosion blame it on the hunger,
that can only be feed by outreaching
your overhead
instead of honoring thy neighbor
by offering when in need of a favor.
smitten with desire to acquire
whats inside the next mans burning fire;
caught by the green eyed monster
unable to escape,
overindulging in restaurants
people say your no count,
lower than a snakes belly
consuming so much
people think,
he must have a tapeworm;
eating to live is the way
of the righteous,
but you live to eat;
the opposite sex is great.
without our better half
we wouldn't be able to populate the state;
but wait your going too far
when your secret desire drives
you to stalk that supermodel;
what happened to living humble,
I guess the once meek got tired of getting pummeled;
even though you consider yourself the best,
doesn't mean you have to stroll around
with a capital 'A'on your chest;
arrogance has a gasly scent like sewage
it's all out stench
unbearable to the nostril's sense.
Lethargic are the thoughts of anyone
that refuses to open their eyes
when engulfed amidst the dark;
how can we succeed
without proper vision to proceed;
so let's conceive to follow the lead
of the one super-seed
and
sail beyond the 7 seas
