Beyond Poetry..

As My Miniature Heart Grows

Once I sat engaged and cherishing,
When I thought of the love,
It became quite clear.
As my miniature heart grows slowly,
And the hours of darkness fade.
I see a glimmer of hope in your newborn.
As cherry blossom leaves turn a fragile orange and slowly fall helplessly to the ground,
My miniature heart grows slowly,  bigger and bigger.
It's fragile body breaks it's cages,
Sitting on one side it should not sit on.
It stops, slowly beating like children testing there drums to see what sound it makes.
Slowly gets faster and faster until it's at a constant beat,
That even the parents smile with content joy.
And children begin playing there songs briefly and majestically.
As my miniature heart grows slowly, getting larger and larger.
It stops,  and embraces that full smile telling how it truly felt beyond all wrong turns it slide out of place jumping into it's lover arms.
As my miniature heart grows slowly, it falls in love with you.
