My Dearest, When I think of you in your new forever home, I see light as a fluctuating halo surrounding you. Your beaming face a lantern with emanating flashes of light running through your smile. I see the joy of familiarity from the reunions with your family and mine. But my heart is fractured by the broken glass stars, the jagged fragments inserting themselves into my heart. The rivers from the unrelenting rainfall of tears that have fallen down threaten to drown me. I wish that I could remove the veil of darkness that separates me from you. The rain is pouring over the Moon drops of unwanted pain and tears of unsolicited loss that are trying to consume me. I miss everything about you. Who you were and what we had together. As I write this letter, take these thoughts with you. The skin of my soul has been soaked through by the rain of my sorrow. I am immersed in anguished seas. But I will be seeing you again in some distant time or space when it is my time to come home. Wait for me, my love. As the stars twinkle in the night sky of eternity, we will find each other and fade into the radiant light. Until then keep your lantern lit. Watch for me. I can hardly wait to run into your arms and embrace you. I will never let you go again for we shall have our wedding inside the gates of Heaven. We will never be parted, never be unclasped. We will be gems of honored distinction and high shining gloss. I will look for you in some forest glade or some tree-lined hill. My feet will never be still as I run to meet you and we explore God's perfect world together. Will you greet me with a beautiful red rose? Will your kiss be lighter than air?
