My words often disturb the mental processing
Of those subliminally brainwashed and unaware
Of the physiological warfare ravaging our
Culture,
Our heritage,
Our beliefs,
And
Our language;
My words incite spiritual riots
amongst the churches' choirs,
Allowing members to stop singing
And
Start thinking
About the lyrics and their meanings
“we shall overcome”…
It's 2019 and we still singing Negro Spirituals…
Singing “amazing grace”
Without knowing who wrote it or why;
I want to tell you all,
But
It's better if you discover it for yourself
Because when I tell you,
You say I'm stuck in the past…
