Bless the Father of our Lord,
Bless the Father of Jesus Christ;
To whom we have loved and adored,
For the one who was sacrificed.
Christ is the spiritual blessing,
Blessing from spiritual places;
In times that have been distressing,
Comforts us as Christ embraces.
He chose us from the foundation,
In time that we should be holy;
By giving us the salvation,
As His children one and only.
He predestined for adoption,
All of us as sons and daughters;
With a pathway to redemption,
Baptized in the righteous waters.
Because the purpose of His will,
For praising His glorious grace;
Having in the heart to instill,
Assist in the problems we face.
In Jesus we have redemption,
Forgiveness of our trespass;
Confessing through the admission,
Stopping the guilt that would harass.
He gives us wisdom and insight,
Making known of His mystery;
And enables to shed some light,
For when enduring misery.
A plan for the fullness of time,
For uniting all things in Him;
Helping us through to make the climb,
Assisted by spiritual vim.
The climb in going to Heaven,
As we get the inheritance;
As a gift that will be given,
By showing obedience.
So, we have been the first to hope,
Of His glory that we might praise;
And we persevere as we cope,
Through each hour of our days.
The Word of truth that you have heard,
For salvation through the Gospel;
Remember it is the true Word,
Being proclaimed to the people.
