 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

God became zealous for His land,

With compassion on His people;

That were abiding to His command,

And did worship in His temple.

Look! He is about to restore,

Restore our grain and fresh wine;

And reaping abundantly more.

Praising the Lord before we dine.

You will be fully satisfied,

Not an object of mockery;

For our God is bona-fide,

Helps avoiding debauchery.

He will remove one from the North,

Removing very far from you;

As goodness and mercy comes forth,

Ensuring that all said is true.

He will drive him out to a place.

A place as dry and desolate;

Driven eastward in a disgrace,

Where it was chaos and violent.

Those eastward into the Dead Sea,

Where his stench will be foul smelling;

Great accomplishments that we see,

A masterpiece quite compelling.

Do not fear dwelling in His land,

Always rejoice for being glad;

Abide in what He would demand,

He assures you are never sad.

Do not fear of the wild beast,

As they graze in the green pastures;

Pick the fruit and prepare for a feast,

Meat from a boar that one captures.

Be glad for what the Lord has done,

For He has given early rains;

As well as the growth from the sun,

For reducing your harvest pains.

He will repay what locust did eat,

No longer will be put to shame;

Never worry about defeat,

As long as you honor His name.
