We always thank our God,
The Father of our Lord;
To whom we honor and laud,
As being loved and adored.
So, we always pray for you,
Because of your faith in Christ;
Having a love that is true,
Since Jesus was sacrificed.
The love you have for the saints,
Because of the hope laid up;
A love free of the complaints,
From those who like to gossip.
Hope as laid up in Heaven,
From all of that you have heard;
What the Gospel has given,
Of the truth found in the Word.
As indeed in the whole world,
Comes to you in bearing fruit;
The grace of God is unfurled,
Since the day that it took root.
For just as you have learned it,
As a faithful minister;
Of your love in the Spirit,
Stop anything sinister.
Because from the day we heard,
I have not ceased in praying;
Constantly reading the Word,
And continue obeying.
May you be filled with knowledge,
And the wisdom of His will;
Understand to acknowledge,
Spiritually to instill.
Walk as worthy to the Lord,
A manner pleasing to Him;
Remaining in one accord,
Be blest with spiritual vim.
May you bear fruit with good deeds,
Increasing knowledge of God;
He will cater to your needs,
Repent and He heals where flawed.
He delivered us from darkness,
Transferred us to His Kingdom;
When we repent, He will bless,
Filling us with His wisdom.
