My life was a nightmare
my life seemed to end
I thought no one would care
but then you came,
and my whole world changed.
You told me;
"Take everyday as it comes
not everything can go your way
we don't always get what we want."
You were there when I needed you
and I know this much is true
I owe my new life to you.
I'm starting over, starting a new life
a life of sometimes happy moments
no need to worry as long as we don't lie.
My life wasn't all it seemed to be
I was always sad I felt no one cared for me
I thought I would never fall in love
that I'd never find someone,
but suddenly you came along
and you changed my world.
What took you so long?
You were there
when I needed you most
I owe my new life to you
I'll try achieving all my goals.
