Tie a Knot
Anytime life has you dangling at
The end of your frazzled rope
Just tie a knot and then hang on
And never give up hope.
That seems to make much better sense
In times of stress and strain
Than simply throwing in the towel
When strength begins to wane.
Of course, that's very hard to do
Finding strength to carry on
When everything seems out of sync
And faith is almost gone.
But despite your feeling overwhelmed
You can call up your reserve
To keep you focused even though
It seems you've lost your nerve.
And that's called perseverance
The idea of hanging tough
When all you want to do is quit
Thinking you have had enough.
So go ahead and tie a knot

Then trust that God will meet you there
And give you back your hope.
