If anyone is suffering,
Let them kneel down and start to pray;
For God will give them buffering,
Through the remainder of the day.
If they are cheerful in the heart,
Let them begin to sing a praise;
Let the music as they impart,
Let it fill heart and mind that stays.
If anyone of you becomes sick,
Call upon the elders of the church;
Anointing them with oil quick,
As they pray unto God and search.
Searching to allow faith to build,
For saving grace from Jesus Christ;
At the Holly Spirit is filled,
For stopping what might had enticed.
Maybe from committing a sin,
That they need to be forgiven;
His Spirit will cleanse within,
As purity flows from Heaven.
Confess your sins to each other,
That you are able to be cured;
And being blessed by your brother,
Salvation from God is assured.
Effectual and fervent prayer,
Has power in a righteous man;
Power they are able to share,
That will work with God and His plan.
Elijah was a man like us,
Who fervently prayed for no rain;
For three and a half years as thus,
No rain had fallen on the plain.
He then prayed for earth to bear fruit,
And the rain poured down from Heaven;
Trees and plants were nourished by roots,
Through the nutrition as given.
If anyone wanders from the truth,
Someone will need to bring them back;
Back unto the roots of their youth,
Teaching them Scripture that they lack.
Whoever brings back a sinner,
From wandering will save their soul;
And be righteously a winner,
Letting Christ to be in control.
