Today I lunched on barbecue steak
With green salad followed
By exotic fruit salad,
Washed down with real ale
And strong coffee,
In the presence of an idealist
Very close to achieving his dream,
Carried along by good conversation
And wrapped in the warmth
Of companionship and friendship.
The hours sped by too fast.
Today I ate Passion Fruit
Kiwi Fruit and Avocado,
Things once only dreamed of.
Yes, today was a very good day.
