Understand that in the last days,
There will come such difficult times;
People having disgraceful ways,
And performing immoral crimes.
Lovers of self and lust of money,
So arrogant and abusive;
Lovers of the milk and honey,
Heartless and being obtrusive.
Disobedient to the Law,
Having a self-inflicted pride;
Without self-control of each flaw,
That is corrupting deep inside.
Because these are perilous days,
Boasters also are blasphemers;
Slanderous while each one strays,
And being erotic dreamers.
Trucebreakers and reckless liars,
Despisers filled with jealousy;
Affection to their desires,
The greediness of green envy.
Constantly lovers of pleasure,
Rather than in honoring God;
Lovers of all of their treasure,
As seen in the mirror they laud.
Reckless and swollen in conceit,
Treacherous being high-minded;
Words from their mouth all deceit,
For other ears to be blinded.
The appearance of godliness,
But be denying its power;
Satan fills them with godlessness,
But appearance like a flower.
These are people you must avoid,
From which you need to turn away;
For they will soon become annoyed,
As you plea with them to obey.
For among them are those who creep,
In homes to catch girls that are weak;
Taking advantage as they sleep,
Intimate pleasures that they seek.
Ever learning and not able,
Come to the knowledge of the truth;
Not get far being unfaithful,
For their folly being uncouth.
