The Battle of Chalford Hill

In a village called Chalford, lies a massive hill. If you ran up it, at the top you would be ill. Even cars struggled up it ,it was a massive climb. Any cyclists who attempted it were just wasting their time. I had a Bantham motorbike Claressa was her name. She was a little battered but a runner just the same. She coughed and spluttered a little, black smoke came out the back but I had faith in Claressa Chalford Hill we would attack. I rode her to the venue. She backfired all the way. I didn't think for a second we wouldn't make it up that day. At the bottom it looked awesome a hill so steep and long. Just for a split second I thought maybe I was wrong. With small doubts I revved her up and started on our quest. Even if we didn't make it, at least we tried our best. Now we were half way up there was no turning back. The hill was getting steeper now defending against attack. Claressa was struggling now it started to turn sour. Her speed was being slowed right down to ten miles an hour. Now we're nearly at the top the engine starts to whine. With words of encouragement I say all Will be fine. Finally we are at the top Claressas had her fill but I'm sure that we won't forget The Battle of chalford hill..
