In Times Of War
Father, please release
the fears we feel now
Comfort us, let us know
you'll get us through this some how.
Our country is on the brink
of attacking Iraq they say
Does there have to be war
is there no other way?
We were taught to love our enemies
and treat them as a neighbor
Do we really have to fight
and go through this labor?
We know some day Jesus will return
as He told us He would
to set up His Kingdom
of love and good.
No evil can enter there
to disturb the peace
We will live forever
all wars and hate will cease.
