As you receive Jesus as Lord,
You have to also walk in Him;
So, you must be in one accord,
For feeling His spiritual vim.
Rooted and built up within Christ,
Having your faith established in;
Just as taught to be sacrificed,
No longer drowning in your sin.
See that no one takes you captive,
By philosophy and deceit;
According to how humans live,
Promise to make you an elite.
Customs and spirits of the world,
Are not accordingly to Christ;
Not as the plan of God unfurled,
Their rites for you to be enticed.
For the fullness of deity,
Bodily dwells in you complete;
In giving you the dignity,
Without agony of defeat.
You are complete and filled with Him,
As the head of authority;
With the power not feeling grim,
With your life as a priority.
Circumcision made without hands,
By putting off the part of skin;
Through Jesus Christ as He demands,
Allowing removal of sin.
Buried with Him in baptism,
Through faith being raised from the dead;
To ignore the criticism,
That so many sceptics have fed.
You who were dead in your transgress,
Of your flesh as uncircumcised;
In Him God made alive to bless.
Although some have still criticized.
By cancelling record of debt,
That is standing against us all;
No longer will we have regret,
Which has been our big downfall.
Taken away nailed to the cross,
And putting them in open shame;
Triumphing over our loss,
That honor and grace will proclaim.
