Hearts

Two bodies, head to toe
In a bath just for one,
Hot scented water soothing,
Cares of the day gone.
A sense of anticipation as
Hands move to stroke and hold.
They leave their bath
Before the water's cold,
Two wet bodies come together
As he leans against the door.
Supported by holding hands
She takes her feet from the floor,
Slips into place for them both
To enjoy the sudden bliss
Of two bodies joined
In that double kiss.
With a scream of joy
That long moment ends
And the lovers part
To hold hands as friends.
She drains the bath
They dress and part
Each taking away
Part of the other's heart.
