When My Blues Are Gone

********

when my blue eyes close
that'll be my last blue sky
no more sunsets
no more sunrise
when
the azure of those deep blue eyes
is gone gone gone
so will be my singing
and my song
blues are sacred
blues have seen long
when my blue eyes close
I'll be gone.

I woke up with this snippet in my head and felt it
significant enough to me to write it down...
