Endless write for endless reasons
Much as all did the longest time ago
I feel more-so of their day lived
To inform make aware have others know
If the oldest of them lived this day
Their poetry would not be as was then
With all happening as it is just now
Out the window could well go their pen
They had attitudes of love and life
And so much of how they were now memory
With more unity oneness they then lived
All of which is gone now many must agree
All my life I've told of how I saw it all
As being at any point that be over time
My still being an oldest soul with honesty
Write as I see inspiration life so fine
But children pay the price for stupidity
The games that adults play this very day
When blowing cities killing endless lives
Little children so may die and have to pay
I'd love to write of forests green endless
And souls living and let live wildflowers
And then I too die turning on the news
Human change changing peace of mind in hours
So much wrong that could be righted easily
But religions politics greed love of war
Has shut the gate long ago on common sense
A time oldest poets wrote of once for sure
And yet still poetry is such a powerful thing
However so many words falling on deaf ears
Ever so many now blind to all they once said
Almost all love happiness children disappears
