DON`T OPEN THE DOOR

DON`T OPEN THE DOOR

Darkness falls and the mist will swirl
A chilling cry will make your hair curl
So to be safe you must stay inside
Here from the witch you can then hide.

A noise at the door like a loud thump
And this will no doubt make you jump
`Don`t be scared` the crackly voice says
`I am not here to end your days`.

`Oh! Open the door and come outside
I know you`re in there you can`t hide`
If you do your fate could be sealed
For her true colours will be revealed.

Your heavy breathing gives you away
`I can hear you and here I will stay
Open the door and step into the gloom
Oh sorry I meant take a ride on my broom`.

You have to hold your breath and stay calm
This will ensure you come to no harm
Keep your nerves steady and don`t give in
Or you may see more than her toothless grin.
