The Backyard Of My Life

People Made Of Sand (Walking Out Into The Wind)

Don't be so hard on someone you love
Time is short hanging from a wire
Remember everybody's fighting a battle
Everybody hurts, bleeds and needs
A shoulder to cry on sometimes
After all were only people made of sand
Walking out into the wind
Never knowing where the dust will land

Come rain or shine
However hard tears may fall
Always try to forgive and forget
Sooner or later its your curtain call
The tracks will hit the end of the line
For you and me nothing will matter anymore
So lets all live and let live
Before were blown away with the wind

Don't be so scared to say the word sorry
Days fly past so fast forever slipping away
Remember everybody's in some kind of story
Trying to keep there dreams up in the air
Looking for a moment in the madness
After all were only souls made of snow
Melting under the setting sun
Not so sure why we came here or where we went wrong

Come rain or shine
Through the thunder and the lightning
Should the sky start to fall
One of these days its your curtain call
Lets stop all the wars and the fighting
For you and me babe the world will be turned to stone
So lets keep moving on
Before we get blown away with the wind

So say what you gotta say
Do it now what you gotta do
Live every day like its your last
Have hope for the future forget about the past

Don't be so heavy on little light hearts
Your only bound to break them
Remember we are all standing on the edge
Everybody wants,feeds and needs
To feel that they are not alone
After all were only people made of sand
Walking into the wind
Never knowing where the dust will land
