Just One of Those Crazy Days

Just One of Those Crazy Days

Today I dragged myself out of bed, made a mug of coffee and some toast, covered it in blackcurrant jam, as it's the one I like the most.
I switched on the radio, to get me in the working mode, wakey wakey rise and shine before I hit the road.
I raided the fridge for my lunch box, and sneaked in some treats, and a bag of cheesy crisps, to really rock off my socks.
I slipped on my shoes and coat and rolled out my front door.
As I listened to the funky jam sounds of Jamiroquai on my Nokia
smartphone, to chase away the morning blues.
It's one of those crazy days, waiting at the bus stop, watching the world go by. School kids fool around on bikes, pulling wheelies.
I guess they think they look cool, as they dance to the sound of hard house as the boom boom music plays.
It's one of those crazy days. Just a day like any other, heading to work to earn my wage.
Sitting at my computer, crunching numbers and data. My job drives me nuts in all kinds of ways.
