When I close mine eyes for the very last time.
Oh! When I close mine eyes for the very last time.
I have made the necessary reservations. And
my two way ticket has been bought and paid.
It did not cost me a single penny.
But it costs our heavenly Father plenty.
He had to sacrifice his only begotten Son,
Jesus Christ, to redeem mankind from sin.
In order for the Holy Spirit to dwell
within our hearts.
I have been redeemed by the precious blood
of the Lamb of God. Who has freely died
on Calvary to take away the sins of the world.
Including you and including me.
When I close mine eyes for the last time.
I shall behold my glorious heavenly escort service.
They shall escort and guide me past the first,
and second heavens. Until I reach my destination.
The third heavenly paradise!
My love ones will be waiting to see me,
at the heavenly pearly gates. I have
an appointment with Jesus Christ.
I hope and humbly pray, he will
find me worthy. And my record
will be spotless and clean!
