What Would I Do
What Would I Do
Oh those many years ago
My blessings of you
So unaware
Of what you would do
My view of life's order
Was my care of you
But with age tables turn
With once easy tasks now hard to do
Never did I believe
That roles would reverse
That my golden years
Would be a burden and curse
But the greatest gift
Essential to my life
Is your care and love
That eases the strife
All the are you ok's
Do you have a need
I'm sending you food
On which to feed
The love and care shown
Goes beyond any life's dream
But in years of my memories
It shows it's God's life scheme
Most days are filled
From sun to sun
The loneliness and fear
That lasts till day is done
And then it comes
When your love shines thru
I'm wondering if not for you
What would I do

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
