Love’s ocean
Love’s ocean of teardrops, loss by consent, A fire in a hearth that was too quickly spent, A match like no other, a short burst of light, A regretful encounter, two ships in the night.
But then in a whirlpool just two miles off shore, A fusion of hearts both sincere and secure, No danger of mishap, and why should there be? Their reasons for loving as deep as the sea.
A teenage romance, two hearts far too young, The old folks had doubts, but the young folk had none, They clung to each other, built a house and a home, And the old folks conceded, ‘Well, what do you know ’?
At the heart of Love's ocean lie passion and trust, Should you question loves depth, let me tell you at once, It’s a conquering distance, three leagues deep at least, Your future awaits, dive in and dive deep.
