The Chambers of the Mind

Written by Cynthia L.B. Bogear
January 21, 2020

Silence echoed with no words to make a sound,
Lonely was all that could come from such a painful reality,
To cry would be pointless for lonely and silence go hand in hand,
Words can't be found to end the misery that fills the room,
Brokenhearted is felt deep to the soul this time profoundly,
To say how the hurt burns is useless with no one to hear,
But to say such things you ask,
Why my dear these have been lessons learned,
Not just once or twice but what's the point in counting,
Going slowly through life in a silence where only lonely knows,
But in the chambers of the mind lonely disappears,
Telling only that the mind hears,
Traveling to destinations where lonely fades into the background,
Exploring places to unlock secrets that are hidden,
Silence surrounds in the emptiness of lonely,
However, in the chambers of the mind the world has been unlocked,
Lonely and silence can now disappear.
