Sitting out in the pubs beer garden
Got talking to a bloke om his own
Looked like he had his share of woe
Like the pub was better than home
You ok I asked he said I'll live
This is where I get peace of mind
Bring all my wages home from work
My as if wife is one of a kind
My life keeping a home best can do
Don't go anywhere it's work or home
Kids at school that costs big time
Mostly here or down the shed alone
She's her girlfriends call sometimes
All chatting sound just like chooks
I stay down the shed out of the way
They all seem the same by the looks
Kids do their own thing on computer
And watching T V or games of war
I'm not big on mates more a loaner
Experience taught me wellfor sure
Here I get time to think have a drink
Marriage can be like the slave trade
It' go to work to make money provide
Seems best not rock the boat for grade
I don't get to talk to many for a chat
But ask you did so good to bend an ear
Sit awhile relax some life never changes
I'm getting another can I buy you a beer
Sounded like he was telling my own story
It sounded ever so much as if the same
Good guys are a dime a dozen often true
Worst part is it's themselves they blame
