Fathers and Daughters
Oh the special bond
They do share
The mutual love
And heartfelt care
He was her prince
No one could compare
She was his princess
He was not willing share
Her protector
He would always be
He was always there
For his little she
The years too quickly pass
And comes that dreaded day
When see you laters have to be said
And the assurance of, Dad I'll be ok
A huge piece of her heart
Went to heaven that day
I will see you again
On bended knee she does pray
The wisdom he shared
Still whispers in her heart
The very same
As it was at her start
He helped form
The who she became
But each day without him
Well its just never the same
My love and thanks
You always knew. I pray
Today sending to you
A Happy Father's Day

ღ God asked me how long I planned on keeping you in my life.
I smiled and said...
How do I choose between always and forever...
But then I have found that's really not up to me... ღ
