 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

I will take my stand,
Upon my watch post;
On the tower and,
With the Holy Ghost.
What will I answer,
About my complaint;
Holding my lancer,
Under a restraint.
I write my vision,
Made plain on tablet;
That caused revision,
What we inherit.
The vision awaits,
Its appointed time;
Hastens to the fates,
Not to be a crime.
For if it seems slow,
In waiting for it;
Only God will know,
If we should merit.
Your soul is puffed up,
It is not upright;
Poison in your cup,
Keeps you from the light.
By faith you shall live,
In God you must trust;
For He will forgive,
Because He is just.
Wine is a traitor,
You will never rest;
An agitator,
With arrogant zest.
For greed is as wide,
As hades is deep;
That corrupts inside,
Till eternal sleep.
Never satisfied,
Through its desire;
Motive not denied,
Flaming the fire.
