Life to me has always been it's so
So very many things to me always
I guess I looked at it as if deeper
And noticed things all of my days
everyone lives in their own world
Sees it all as they choose to do
With their own ideas joys fears
As they venture each day through
Myself since I can remember back
Have had an ability to look within
Never have I been a follower as such
Allowing each day to play and win
Always a part of the blowing wind
The eagles so high how they'd fly
The wild flowers of season growing
At one with sunshine bright in the sky
A lot like a leaf upon a mountain brook
Never wasting my time climate change
Nature simply doing as it has always
One day till next time thus to rearrange
Miles of fuel deep from years gone by
But a planet of souls can't leave alone
Life as it has always been ever naturally
Creating imagined brilliance to the bone
From a boy I wrote poetry and song
Sang my songs all in my very own way
With them explaining life as I saw it
Never doing wrong to any might I say
Helped any I could that needed a hand
If I was in a position just that to thus do
Knowing selective memories live yet still
That's a part of life from birth through
Loved country music as a part of myself
Spent so much time alone me myself I
Sitting nights by camp fires and stars
With a mouth organ my dog can't deny
Loved out in the bush it loved me too
Never a city soul love natures symphonies
Giving a mind time to think peacefully
With the company of birds endless bees
Nobody to tell me how they know God
No racial negatives taking life and time
Retaining all my fathers well taught values
As he was within every day down the line
Endless just cannot live and let live in life
Religions earths largest list of earthly crime
In most cases I guess it saves them working
Seeing themselves as disiples ever divine
Anyway for what it's worth many don't
Know me at all though many think they do
I'm as if a wild flower or a babbling brook
As honest as the day I'll die that way too
