Listen to me who I have called,
It is He the first and the last;
That there has been many appalled,
But giving hope to the downcast.
His hand has laid the foundation,
While His right spread out heaven;
Those who believe gives salvation,
As our sins are forgiven.
Assemble all of you to hear,
Who amongst you declared these things?
The Lord love the ones who revere,
Pleasing to the blessing it brings,
He has spoken with calling you,
If you listen, you will succeed;
Because of His way always true,
Catering to every need.
Draw near and come unto the Lord,
He spoke in secret since the start;
It is time not to be ignored,
Came to be in mind and in heart.
And now the Lord our God sent,
His Holy Spirit to direct;
To redeem those who do repent,
Never attempting to reject.
Because He is the Lord your God,
Who teaches you how to profit;
Remember to honor and laud,
And remain spiritually fit.
If you adhere to His commands,
You will have peace like a river;
As to what righteousness demands,
From all stress He will deliver.
Righteousness like waves of the sea,
Your offspring are to be like sand;
Salvation lets them to be free,
If taught well what God does command.
