The Backyard Of My Life

Tears Running Down My Face

Lost and lonely night
Tangled up in troubles
From my wreck less heart
I said something wrong
Without a second thought
Like rolling thunder
The consequence has come

Crashing down fallen far from grace
Tears running down my face
I should of known better
Only myself to blame
Nobody knows how to
Play this loving game

Wait for tomorrows light
Caught up in the guilt
Of my restless dreams
If i could turn back time
Freeze frame the final moments
To stay locked inside of a photograph
When you where still mine

Breaking down in this god forsaken place
Tears running down my face
Emotions blinding my sight
Trying to kill the pain
Head in my hands
With a pocket full of rain

Crying,waiting,hoping
Got no place to fall
Crying,waiting,hoping
You will hear me when i call

After another fight
Regretful in the ruins
Of the endless eternal circle
Solitude and sadness
Somehow swallow me whole
Like a waterfall of pity
There's a price to pay

Cast away to this quiet empty space
Tears running down my face
Difficult decisions
Why wont she shoulder the shame
Nobody knows how to
Play this loving game
Nobody knows how to
Play this loving game
