Praise the Lord for He is good,
Sing praises to our God;
Pleasing to do as you should,
While you honor and laud.
The Lord does build up Zion,
As He gathers the outcast;
Hear Him roar like a lion,
Causing foes fear of the past.
He heals the brokenhearted,
While binding up their hurt;
Ensuring pain is thwarted,
Embracing them for comfort.
He decides how many stars,
Giving all of them their names;
Considered in His memoirs,
Each of His Scripture proclaims.
Great is our Lord with might,
Rationale beyond measure;
As He gives us a pure light,
Shines on eternal treasure.
The Lord lifts up the humble,
Casting evil to the ground;
Where they stagger and stumble,
And hearing a gnashing sound.
Sing to God with thanksgiving,
Making melody to God;
He has sustained your living,
Healing you where you are flawed.
He covers the Heaven with clouds,
He prepares rain for the earth;
While watching growing crowds,
Grass on the hills giving birth.
He gives to the beasts their food,
And to the ravens that cry;
Men with the right attitude,
Comforting those who are shy.
His delight is not in strength,
Nor the pleasure of a man;
But persevere at the length,
Of Heaven within his plan.
But the Lord will take pleasure,
In anyone who fears Him;
In steadfast love to measure,
The sum of spiritual vim.
